“The class teaches the joy of rescuing and redeeming beloved children. If you feel ill-equipped on your own, you can trust that you’re not on your own and that you can love and be a blessing to these children.” – Walter
COMPLETE YOUR TRAINING TWO SATURDAY CLASSES (most other agencies require attendance of a minimum of 2 nights a week for 6 – 8 weeks)
It is preferable to have already submitted your Application and Criminal Consent forms prior to the Training Class. To save time during our Saturday classes, we have a Potluck for lunch, and order Pizza for dinner. Please bring a dish to share for lunch and a few dollars for Pizza that evening.
Please remember, each class contains sensitive information not suitable for children. If you have children under age 15 you will need to find childcare. If you have teens or extended family that will be babysitting your foster children they are welcome to attend training.
If you have any friends or family who are interested in opening their heart and home to children, please let us know, as we really need more great foster or adopt parents. If you know anyone who wants to be a mentor to a foster child or be a volunteer for a future weekend retreat for foster children, please tell them to contact us. They are invited to attend the Training class as well.
We really hope you can make it to the upcoming classes because there are so many children that need a safe and loving home and we are so glad you have opened your heart to think about these neglected children! Please let us know if you can make it.
Call (512) 945-8953 if you need help with directions the morning of class.
Thank you!
